Rebranding and launching a newly reimagined, multi-million dollar sports and entertainment venue
Nostrum positioned the redesigned space as a sophisticated and uniquely flexible event destination and developed a multi-media marketing program to capture audience segments at multiple touch points.
Creatively, Nostrum conceived a simple, yet powerful, “Transform” concept that highlighted the experiences of sight, sound and sense of space. Messaging spoke to both the physical transformation of the sports arena, as well as the new space’s ability to palpably adapt to virtually any event design – making it uniquely desirable.
Our creative concept informed not only collateral and on and off-line advertising for the event space, but the invitations, lighting design, décor, and menu for the launch event itself (even the night’s signature drink.)
To ensure communication cohesiveness under notably tight timing, we liaised with our Client, Client partners, sub-contractors, and vendors on a daily basis. Additionally, a master production calendar and launch campaign guidelines were created and proved central to the efficiency of this program.
The event space launch created a monumental buzz and generated leads for future bookings.
Response to the new configuration resulted in a nearly $40 million dollar economic impact for the city of Long Beach.
The 2014 rebrand and launch campaign received both Addy and MarCom awards, among others.
